Tierra que anda is born as the second act of an initial research project, which had its first audience in a site-specific performance in the village of Stavoli, where the body and listening serve as primary tools for exploring and coexisting within a shared space. Solid bodies in space gently rediscover empathy and dialogue with the environment that hosts them, triggering a continuous flow of give-and-take as an active act of exchange and relationship. The natural sound and the music produced by the body itself are integral parts of this research and creative act. They accompany, follow, guide, and generate auditory stimuli that move bodies and create an authentic soundscape — that natural music we so often forget to listen to. From this first performative act, we arrive at Tierra que anda, which now embraces a musical soundscape, evolving into a fusion of music and body that creates and transforms a new entity in perpetual motion.
