Details
In the proposed project idea, we delve into the deep labyrinth of human memories, exploring the delicate balance between the desire to remember and the fear of forgetting. The research is inspired by Felice Cimatti's book “La fabbrica del ricordo” guiding us on a reflective and emotional journey through the realm of human memory. There is the enchantment of memories that connects us to the past and defines who we are. However, there is also the constant threat of oblivion, the absence of memory and the fear of an unavoidable condition of emptiness. Through a series of engaging scenarios and intense physical languages, the dancers explore the nuances of human memory, depicting moments of joy, pain, euphoria, and loss. What emerges is an intricate portrait of what it means to be human: beings perpetually caught between the desire to preserve the past and the necessity to embrace the present. DURATION 25’
