Habitat is the place to be, a recognition of our responsibility to “inhabit with respect.” A work that explores the fracture between contemporary humans and nature, and the need for a human and spiritual rebirth. It is a story of inner transformation that takes shape through the dialogue between the rationality of our time and that unconscious, primitive, archetypal, and wild side that continues to live within us. Every step we take moves the air, alters the balance of things, and leaves a mark on the ceaseless rhythm of the universe an intricate system of interconnected components of which humans are an integral part, though not the center. Desecrated, the Earth has ceased to be a mother, profaned and turned into an object by her own children. Habitat draws attention to our presence in the world as part of a delicate ecosystem that requires our protection in order to preserve ourselves. It is time, together, to inaugurate a new level of respect for the Earth.
